Prince William's first public comments about Kate Middleton since her photoshop scandal appear to involve...*checks notes*...shouting out her artistic skills.
The Prince of Wales made these remarks while decorating cookies during a royal engagement this week when he mused, "My wife is the arty one, my children are artier than I am."
Oooookay!
And speaking of the Princess of Wales' "artistic endeavors," apparently even her friends are baffled by the blatant OMG-worthy elements throughout her Mother's Day picture—specifically, the fact that her wedding ring is visibly missing in it.
An anonymous acquaintance of the Prince and Princess of Wales spoke with the Daily Beast and said, "The relationship has always seemed incredibly strong despite the immense pressure they are under, so it’s fair to say we were all completely baffled when the picture came out with the wedding ring missing, especially as it was photoshopped. It just seemed guaranteed to get people asking questions about the state of the marriage."
And more recently, a source told the outlet that Kate is being "harassed by the media over fuck-ups made by other people."
"How her office could have put out a picture without her ring when it was clearly going to be one of the most scrutinized pictures of all time is just unfathomable," they added. "And she is to blame? Sorry, no. That was their failure and they should have accepted the blame. They will clear out all those people when the dust settles."
